  I bought the oil & wax finished hickory engineered hardwood floor. Once it’s installed, I was surprised (in a good way) by the beauty of the light and dark mixed colors of this wood floor and the beautiful effect of the oil finish! When I saw the hickory sample in the showroom, I was not impressed by its color. I chose this wood just because of its hardness and the oil finish. I was hesitated about the light color of the wood sample I saw in the showroom, so I talked to a friend who bought the same hickory wood from Unique Wood Floor last summer. My friend told me that this wood floor looked VERY BEAUTIFUL after it’s installed! He said that he would buy the same hickory floor if he buys another house in the future. I just took my friend’s word and bought the Oil & Wax Finished Hickory Engineered Wood. After it’s installed, I am very glad that I made the right choice! All of my friends who came to my house are impressed by the beauty of my hickory wood floor. Unique Wood Floor has all the accessories I need to care this wood floor. The hickory hardwood I bought was treated with a special WOCA oil finish from Denmark. Unique Wood Floor carries the WOCA accessories, such as soap, refresh oil, mop and etc. The WOCA soap contains coconut fat to protect the wood in each cleaning. The WOCA mop is quite expensive, but after looking at a cheaper cotton mop in Target, I can see the difference in the cotton mop head. Winston and Yao are very knowledgeable and helpful in helping me to find the right kind of hard wood according to my requirement. They honestly told me the good side and down side of the several hard woods I was interested in. It’s a pleasant experience to work with them and the installation process was very smooth.
